The Type Museum is housed in the old Victorian circus’ elephant sleeping quarters in Stockwell. When I visited to see how to help this wonderful organisation, there were mountains of moveable type waiting to be sorted by point size.
The creation of this site helped them to gain enough publicity to get volunteers for sorting the type.
